Research Interests

My research focuses on protective behaviors across health and climate domains. I am interested broadly in how we react to a perceived threat, and what helps transition that into behavior. The application of this work has spread from climate change to HIV and HCV, but I am always looking for novel techniques to promote healthy and sustainable action!

The nature of climate change is such that we must adapt our actions to not only reduce our climate impact, but ensure that we are adapting our behaviors to a changing climate. Above is a photo I took from 2023 in Philadelphia.
